Content Analysis of "Harper's Bazaar"
Clear, transparent shoes were showcased a total of 15 times in the January-April issues of Harper's Bazaar.
The trend was prevalent, but not overbearing. The prevalence of PVC was fairly balanced when compared to the prevalence of Lucite.
There was not a large number of ads featuring shoes with PVC or Lucite in these issues, but each issue had at least one editorial showcasing clear shoes. To my surprise, there were no major features showing the trend. However, Allure magazine published a one-page feature devoted to clear shoes, which you can view by clicking here.
